4 in Heavy Duty Gate Wheel with Built-in Spring Loaded

Not rated to what is described poor craftsmanship.

This worked very well with a large, heavy gate that was touching the ground. Lifted it up, so it is now easy to open and close.

Like others have said, instructions would have made this easier, but the wheel supports plenty of weight and rolls smoothly over rough ground. So I'm happy with it for sure.

The wheels roll sufficiently well on grass and would be excellent on concrete or asphalt. The gate must be very sturdy; if not, you may need to place a wheel on each side of the gate. The spring support allows easier travel across uneven surfaces.

Added these casters to keep the gate from dragging on the driveway, installed quickly and installed them "pre-loaded" about half the travel so the gate always has upward pressure on it.
